Middle Island Medical Clinic is a small general practice with big aspirations.
Founded in 2016 by partners Campbell McKellar and Ami Thies, it’s a place where the best traditions of holistic and evidence-based medicine are blended with innovative and intentional design – of space, of care and of community.

About our building
Middle Island Medical Clinic is situated within The Royal Hotel building, the second oldest hotel in Warrnambool, built in 1865. After a continuous lineage of publican owners, the practice partners purchased the building in April of 2016, retaining the license to open a café in the original corner bar.
In 2018, a number of upstairs bedrooms were removed to restore the original ballroom; a beautiful, light filled studio for yoga, conferencing and functions.
